First launched on the occasion of the Baselworld Watch and Jewellery Show 2004, Underwood (London) is pleased to present the latest addition to its collection of watch winders.

Designed and developed using Swiss technology in close co-operation with the Swiss Watch Industry, this single watch winder carries all the hallmarks of Underwood design and Swiss technology.

Primarily a single watch winder the unit comprises of a robust shapely designed special resin case with outside dimensions measuring 9 x 10 x 11 cm and comes with a standard Underwood spring loaded watch support.

The large transparent cover is designed to allow maximum visibility of what should be the centrepiece of any watch winder... the watch itself!

TECHNICAL DETAILS

The unit is powered by a single large "C" cell or LR14 battery and is designed to run for at least 6 months, alternatively each unit can be powered by way of an AC transformer.

The electronic micro-controller sets the sequence of rotations for both clockwise and anti-clockwise rotation, resulting in a total of 950 rotations per day.

At start-up the cycle commences with 15 minutes clockwise rotation, followed by 15 minutes of counter-clockwise rotation. This is then followed by 1 minute 50% clockwise and 59% counter-clockwise movement every 15 minutes. The rotation speed is ca. 10 rotations per minute.

When operating the green LED emits a continuous flash, while the red LED is activated to indicate low battery voltage, allowing sufficient time to replace the battery.
